A hands-on Sunday morning of clay, and creativity!
Sunday 6 July · 11:00am – 12:00pm ·
Molly Rose Beer Garden (or Taproom if it rains)
Looking for a way to get the kids into something squishy, sensory and seriously fun? Come along to Kids Fruity Clay Creations – a guided clay session hosted in collaboration with the talented team from Slow Clay.
We’re turning the Molly Rose beer garden into a fruit-themed clay workshop! Kids will work with real fruit as inspiration – think bananas, berries and even pineapples – and create a collaborative clayscape using professional-grade clay and tools.
🍉 What’s Included:
-
A guided 60-minute clay workshop with a professional ceramics educator
-
All clay, tools and aprons provided
-
A juice for each participating child
-
A fruity still life setup to inspire their creations
-
Hands-on help from the Molly Rose crew
-
Adult entry is free – relax with a coffee or beer while the kids get creative!
Note: We're not firing pieces – instead, kids will contribute to a big, beautiful fruit-themed display. At the end, we'll gently recycle the clay (destruction party optional 😄).
🍟The kitchen will be open from 12 pm once their little hands are clean of clay and ready for chippies and sauce!
🍎 Who’s it For?
-
We recommend kids 7 and up, but if your kiddo is a focused little one then they are more than welcome.
-
Parent/guardian supervision required, we will have the beer garden gates closed and there is the kids play area if your younger ones aren't ready for clay.
