5.5% │ Barrel Fermented Farmhouse Ale
This beer was an experiment gone right! We filled a hogshead barrel with our base brett saison and dry hopped it on the very first day of fermentation with 6g/L of Ella hops. 12 months later we bottle conditioned the elixir that came from the barrel and the results speak for themselves!
Day Zero is a layered and complex beer which finishes dry and crisp but is amazingly plush across the palate, almost reminiscent of a textual white wine. Soft tropical fruit fills the palate along with gentle spicy farmhouse aromas. This beer is one to be savoured but is too easy to drink!
